I currently work at the G.M. Elliot Library where I assist patrons with finding books and any computer problems they have. While working in the library I assist the patrons when they are doing research projects. In the library we do projects where we need to shelf read all the books or we shift all the books in the library. With the different projects in the library I am not always able to finish, at that time I pass the project off and have to explain it to my co-worker so they can finish. Working at the library takes patience and good communication skills to help the patrons and to get the projects done.
At my church, Happy Corner Church of the Brethren, I teach the Pre-K through 2nd grade classes. During these classes I have to plan the lessons and plan out the different actives the students will do. The lessons always come with a worksheet, but that is all so I have to come up with all the different activities the students will do and how do manage the time wisely with the students so they have enough activities to do.
